enable debug logs on client

  • 1.  enable debug logs on client

    HI

    The debug log option under help - troubleshooting - debug logs - then the button there to turn on the logging is greyed out.

    I tried to change the client control settings to client control from server but the option is still greyed out.

    This is a managed client, and it's strange in some groups the button is active but the policy settings are the same as for the groups where the button is greyed out

    The change setting option appears more than once in the GUI and sometimesis greyed out as well.

    Change Settings > Client Management > Configure Settings > Tamper Protection tab

    Actually the Configure Settings part from above is disbaled.

    This set within the policy, to be locked down on the user side.

    Enabling debug logs should still be possible

    I had edited the previous post, maybe you missed the part, i'll repeat here:

     

    Change Settings > Client Management > Configure Settings > Tamper Protection tab

    Actually the Configure Settings part from above is disbaled.

    I can see the option for NTP and NAC but not for CLIENT MGMT.

    Any ideas?

     

    I have set the location based profile to client control now.

    In your SEPM go to the Clients page, select the group the client is in and select the Policies tab

    Under General Settings select the Tamper Protection tab. Uncheck the box to disable or open the lock to be able to disable on the client end

    There the option is LOG ONLY, so should not be a problem i thought.

    Client management is always there, is it greyed out? Perhaps some screenshots are needed to make this easier to see what you are talking about
