Provide me the process how to exclude USB storage from Blocking .

How to block USB Thumb Drives and USB Hard Drives, but allow specific USB Drives in the Application and Device Control Policy in Symantec Endpoint Protection.

Yes how to allow Specific USB drives in the application and device control policy in SEP

Do you want to exclude all usb storage devices or some particular drives....?

Get the device id of the required USB drive and then add it to the exceptions in the policy so that only that USB drive will be allowed and others will not.

Need more clarification . After running devViewer itry to copy device id of the usb storage device and want to paste on the notepad but couldnt find any contents .
 
Is it mandatory to paste directly on to the SEP add new device page the device id which we get copy .

Please suggest the step need to take .

You can also use deice manager to find the GUID.There is some problem in the RU6 devviewer.if you are having some older version try it.For excluding you have to add it to SEPM...
