  • 1.  EncryptingWindows 7 Bootca mp Partition only - with PGP Full Disk Encryption

    Hi,

    I have installed Windows7 on a seperate partition (via Bootcamp) on my MacBook Pro Retina.

    When I want to encrypt the Windows7 Partition "BOOTCAMP" only, I recieve the error : "Verschlüsselung nicht möglich:WDE:Datenträger nicht kompatibel (-12296)" ---> ( Decryption not possible:WDE:Drive not compatible (-12296)" ).

    How to fix this ? I want to encrypt only Windows7 Bootcamp partition only, not the whole SSD !

    Yes weevil, but this is another issue, I am looking for a solution for this, too.

    WDE on Macs does not support encryption of individual partitions.

    OK, how long will you need to fix the problem with Retina MacBooks ?
