  • 1.  Encryption is not working for users

    Hi Experts

    I am New to PGP encryption..

    In windows server I have created a public key and batch file to encrypt CSV file.  but when my collegues logs in to server to encrypt the file, its not encrypting as the certificate which i have created is not available for him.

    Is there a way wherein i can create a certificate which is common for all the user...

    Hi Andersun,

     

    The file encryption works with PGP keys and the keys are user specific, if you have multiple users using the same machine, you will have to enroll all the users to the PGP desktop and generate keys for each users.

    Hi Andersun,

    Apologise if I not understand the problem correctly but you use a PGP Command Line fo this purpose - am I right ?

    When another user logs into this machine and run pgp --list-sigs is the cert available there ?

    Please explain this further.
