Question - supported export public key certificate (SED 10 or higher) in format X.509 (*.cer)?

http://www.symantec.com/connect/forums/export-public-key-certificate Don't work with SED 10.3.2 MP6 (File "pgp.exe" not found so commands said the link is not supported)

Ok. Download and trying to install "PGP CommandLine 10.3.2 MP3". Fail...

Error = An incompatible version of the PGP SDK exists on this system. Please uninstall any PGP products and try again. Installation terminated.

    Maybe I'm wrong somewhere?

    ---------

Windows 7 + Symantec Encryption Desktop v.10.3.1 (or higher)

Exporting a certificate from your keyring in that fashion only works with PGP Command Line.  The SDK may be different in Command Line and Symantec Encryption Desktop.  You would need to uninstall Symantec Encryption Desktop to install Command Line.

Do you have an existing X.509 certificate on your keyring, or are you trying to convert a different certificate type to X.509?

I have seen several instances where individuals were attempting to export their PGP Key as X.509, and this is something neither program will do.  It is a completely different format with different algorithms.  A PGP Keypair cannot be converted into any other format.
