I'm new to this - I have SEP 11.03 and the Management Console running on a WIN2k3 server.
I am in the process of pushing out SEP with the deployment tool.
How do I get the PC's it is pushed out to, to appear in the management console?
    Thanks,  Pete

    Hello Pete.
When you deploy install package , your client will be in a group which you select when create a package in sep manager. when you create a install package you can choice which group will be in.
than client install  finished you can see your client in a group.
you can see unmanaged client in clients >find unmanaged clients tool. and if you have many groups you can find your client use "search clients" link on left side in clients tab.
    have a nice day.

When we push the Package the Client should automatically be seen in the SEPM

If you are not able to see them ,
Check for windows firewall on the Client as well as SEPM . It shoud be off or we need to create exception for the IIS port

I impoprted from Active Directory all my my machines via their OU into SEPM, I can see them all, we have them set in print groups.
If I set an "Install Package" to "Distribute upgrades over" a set time frame, say ten days, will this work?

I work for a school district and we are trying to get this rolled out witout touching every machine.
    Thanks, Pete

    Thanks!!
Will work on any machine it finds - If it has an older version of Syamantec or no AV?
How does it take to start?
I have some set for within the hour and it didn't do anything.
