Has anyone gotten SEPM to install on a Windows 2008 Server machine?
Yes, I realize is still isn't RTM, but I would like to try it out.
Thanks!

Support,
I noticed that last update was 2 months ago.... Do you have a workaround or fix yet for EndPoint Server/Console on MS Windows 2008 Server??? This is now holding back my migration to 2008 server.
I have it installed on Windows 2008 Server Standard and it seems to be working just fine. This server is just a test server not a production server. Hope this helps
Bill:
I have been able to install the SEP Client with no problems.
The issues, question is with SEPM - Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager. We can not install that part of the application.
Have you been able to get the Manager to install on Windows Server 2008?
Regards

Actually, the last update to SEPM/SEP was a week or so ago. MR2MP1 v11.0.2010.25. As of this date, the SEPM is still NOT supported on 2008 server. There is no ETA on when it will be supported. There are currently no workarounds other than using a virtual 2008 Server on 2003 Server host OS. I apologize for the inconvenience.
I think Ted meant to say "There are currently no workarounds other than using a virtual 2003 Server on a 2008 Server host OS".
Yeah, what Ogre said. :smileywink:
I've installed SCAV 10.2 on two Windows Server 2008 x64 servers.
It works well on one server, but the other one keeps locking up after a number of days.
Haven't tried SEPM yet.
is the EndPoint for Windows 2008 released now or not yet?
can I have the download link please?
