Hi

Some of my clients are having issues with taking screen shots (screen dumps) on their machines. OS = XP sp2 . Whenever they take a screen shot , error messages - memory full , error getting clipboard data and some of the captured shots appear black .

Is endpoint doing something weired in RAM or preventing screen shots . We have application and device control running as well .

Thanks

I don't think so that

I don't think so that endpoint may be  cauisng the issue.
But then alos in order to isolate the issue, Stop the endpoint protection service from services.msc and see if you are able to take the screen shot ?

Re

Please check your memorry usage on the Task Manager (Ctrl + Shift + Esc) check if any of the processes of your pc is consuming a lot of RAM.

You could also try to refresh the memory by clicking Start, then run, type "mem" then click ok.

Try checking if all the said

Try checking if all the said computers that cant do screenshot have SEP installed...
It might be something else that is making this happen...
Check the process tab in task manager...

What about the other clients that could do screen shots, do they have SEP installed?
They also might had istalled apps that is memory hungry...
