    Hello to everyone!

I have a simple question referred this solution. We have encrypted machines with windows 7 and each one have problems (Crash of the OS).

Then I was told that we need to upgrade the solution to 8.2 that support windows 7.

The question is, what should I do with this machines that already have full disk encryption with the older version of the solution.

Do I have to decrypt and encrypt again?

Do I must upgrade the client on the machines?

    Thx for the suggestions!

It might be worth mentioning that Win7 is supported in SEE7.0.5 as well.  As per my post in the thread Ashish linked, I have upgraded the same Win7 laptop all the way up from v7.0.5 to the current latest version.

I don't recall having any particular problems with crashes and the like on v7.*.  Are these new machines, and did you follow best practices for running chkdsk and defrag prior to encrypting?  What is/are the errors you're encountering?

It is highly recommended anyway, that you upgrade to the latest version of SEE to expand the range of hardware compatibility.
