  • 1.  Endpoint encryption BSOD on Panasonic Toughbook CF-52VCBCX1M

    I have tried multiple times to load SEE version 8.2.1 MP1 that my company provided me for CF-52 Toughbook laptops.  I get a blue screen of death every time I load it and reboot for the first time (and every other time I try to reboot).  I have AHCI set for the hard drive in BIOS.  Does anyone know a solution out there to my problem?  It seems that there are many issues with BSOD with SEE on multiple computers.

    Yeah, the Preboot environment can be a little fiddly.

    The best course I can suggest is to upgrade to the latest version of SEE-FD (currently v8.2.1MP9) and log a support case with Symantec to take you through the creation of a customised client (as per below article):
