  • 1.  Endpoint Manager Clients don't connect to Manager Server

    Hello People:

    Our Symantec Endpoint Manager Clients don't connect to Manager Server. I have all my clients offline. If I press Update under Troubleshooting tab, the Green Dot appear for 2 or 3 seconds, then go offline again.

    On the Connection Status Option, I receive Error 114: Error in response to heartbeat (4)

    Some 1 can help me on this? Thanks

    And also be sure that your clients not cloned with unsupported way.

    Hi HEMANPR

    1. Were clients communicating earlier ?
    2. Was Sep manager upgraded recently ? or reinstalled ?
    3. Was there any firewall introduced in your network ie cisco / juniper etc
    4. Clients communicate at port 8014 make sure its open
    5. Are you able to login to Sep manager ?
    6. Check and restart the services for Sepm .
    7. Sylink monitor logs from one client machine which goes offline would be needed find link below to run it and upload the logs

    9. note run sylink monitor not watcher you can download the tool from link above.

     

    Run Sylink log for atleast 30 mins and update .

    One more thing have you changed Ip or host name of the Sepm server ?

    Hello,

    What version of SEP 12.1 have you installed, is that SEP 12.1 RTM or SEP 12.1RU1?

    What OS are you running on the SEPM server?

    Are all these clients Clonned / Imaged?

    The real issue is the sylink

    We need to replace all sylink for all my clients based on communication setting of each group.

    I go to use the SylinkReplacer to do this. ATM is working.
