    Configuration:
Windows 2k8R2, MS SQL 2005 database, 2 SEPM servers at one site.
    SEP 12.1 RU1

    Number of clients: 9k+ of 12.1 RU1 & 11.0.X Clients

    Problem:

The automatic LU that was runs daily, goes through a period where it no longer updates clients.
The information on the SEPM console shows 1/3 of the clients no longer has up-to-date definitions.

In the past Symantec support has had me reboot the SEPM servers.
This is not a fix but a workaround that doesn’t always work.

I found this article and look like a solution but didn't resolve the issue.

It appears to only be the SONAR Content Failures definitions.

    Hello,

    Are the client updated?

What is the date format selected?

    Check these Articles:

Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager 12.1 console home page showing Security Status - Attention needed

    http://www.symantec.com/business/support/index?page=content&id=TECH164272

SONAR Definitions are not updated on SEP 12.1 Clients.

    Hope that helps!!

This looks like the right solution, the clients are already set to pull.  They have updated now but still not sure why this happen I rebooted servers and waited.  I have looked over the other settings refered in this article. nothing else needed to be changed.
