What updates are you talking about.
What is the definition date you currently have.

    Check if this is related

You wont be getting installation successfull, if you read it would say

check these discussions for windows 7

The update for Windows 7 is already released it is 11.0.5002.333 RU5.
It should be available for download from your serial number just check it in https://fileconnect.symantec.com

Symantec Endpoint Protection 11.0 RU 5 {a.k.a. 11.0.5} is required for compatibility with Windows 7

To download the full version, which is required to install the software for the first time on a Windows 7 machine, you need the serial number that is tied to the customer's licenses. It is typically printed on their certificate.

However, in this case, you mentioned the customer does not have their certificate.

In that case I would recommend you have the customer call Customer Care at 1-800-721-3934

They can search for the customer's licenses and determine if their support contract is current.

We have 11.0.5002.333 but it doesn't work on Seven Starter & Seven Professional that we have tried.. Either with remote installation, or with copying the setup file locally...

what was the error you are getting? Pls create another thread for this problem since this thread is old one most of the people may ignore it.Also pls attach the sep_inst.log which will be present in %temp% directory..
