Hi!

I have a problem with Endpoint protection 11 and MS Office 2007. More specific Outlook 2007.

We have som mac users who sends jpg's to us. Before we install SEP11 we can see the attached jpg but after we install SEP11 we cannot preview the jpg. It should be said that we can view some jpg's but it looks like we cannot open the ones that is made on a mac.

We can open it with forexample photoshop when we have SEP11 installed but not with the preview function in Windows or the picture and fax viewer that comes with office 2007.

Anyone who can help me with this?

This can help, partially,... if you are using entourage on the mac,  change the attach encoding to WINDOWS(MIMEBase64). Where? in Entourage preferences (Command key plus  "," ) go to Mail & News Preferences, and then to "Compose", on the right,  look for ATTACHMENTS and where it says "Encode for" select Windows(MIME/Base64). This setting lets you open the jpg created on the mac, mail it with entourage, and open on Outlook on a pc. But this will work only within your office because when you receive an jpg file created on a Mac from the internet, its quite possible that you still can't open the file, because the sender sent it with the default setting for Encode (that is Any Computer (AppeDouble)  )
