    Dear,

I need an antivirus software for file server, the software which works not in user session (when user logins in server) but in server (runs like a service or etc.)

I'll try to explain. I use the citrix software to publish applications from my server to clients. When application starts, automatically starts user's application and Symantec endpoint protection client's software (user see it in system tray, like application from citrix server). So, when user closes its application, the session (from server citrix) still open (because of Symantec application still running) and it never closes.  So i need product which doesn't open any appliction in user sessin.

    Hope you understood me.

see attach,  in server citrix - no symantec protecion, in server serv33 - is. and session open.

    Hello,

    I agree with above.

    Check this Article:

Best Practices for Symantec Endpoint Protection on Citrix and Terminal Servers

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH91070

Secondly, Exclude Citrix from attaching to the Symantec Endpoint Protection processes by following the instructions in the following Citrix document. Please ensure you backup the registry before making any changes:

    http://support.citrix.com/article/CTX107825

It is recommended, on 64-bit machines, to add the exclusions to the 32-bit and 64-bit registry hives outlined in the document. Exclude the following files, others may be needed as well if you're seeing crashing of other applications or modules:

    ccsvchst.exe, smc.exe, sesclu.exe, smcgui.exe

Again, In reference to VDI - check these -

    Hope that helps!!
