  • 1.  Endpoint Protection DLP - Content visible while copying

    Hi Fellas,

    I am new to Symantec End Point AntiVirus and evaluatiing DLP application. I have blocked USB drives but have allowed USB for certain users and which is being notified. Now would like to know if those users copy any files on USB can administrator be notified the files names which are copied? If not which other product do I need to procure to make this functionality work?

    Yes, you can use DLP Endpoint agent to monitor all the files transfer to USB for these certain users.

    Monitor files in the sent will it notify me the file names as well?

    Yeah, the administrator or audit can see the file name from DLP Enforce Console.

    You could also setup a response rule to notify the administrator via e-mail ect.
