  • 1.  Endpoint Protection fails to start correctly

    Endpoint Protection doesn't automatically start upon system bootup; although it did just yesterday. When I try to run it directly from the Start Programs menu I get this error:

     

    The application was unable to start correctly (0xc00000ba). Click OK to close the application. The header of the dialog box reads "msseces.exe - Application Error"

     

    I don't know which version we are running.

    msseces.exe is related to Microsoft Security Essentials. If this is on the machine, I would suggest removing it as no machine should run two antivirus programs.

    I am totally agree with brian. You can remove the Microsoft security essential.
