  • 1.  endpoint protection firewall blocking hyperV VM

    Hi

    The endpoint protection has been installed on hyperV host but blocking the access to VM. I added new rule, specify IP of the VM, local port(22 SSH for example) but still not able to SSH in to the VM.

    The traffic can go through if i disabled endpoint firewall.

    Any idea?

    What does the traffic log show on the client in terms of what is being blocked? Have you opened it up for that specific IP/VM?

    Troubleshoot blocked network traffic due to the Endpoint Protection firewall

    Hi Brian

    In firewall rules i specified the IP address in Hosts tab. Protocol allow ALL. In the logs it shows the TCP packet being blocked.

    What SEP version is this on?
