I currently have Endpoint Protection Manager loaded on a Windows 2003 File server. I believe that it offers no antivirus protection, only management. When I try to load the Endpoint protection 11.0 client on that server, the installation rolls back and quits.

I have seen a few posts regarding the roll back when previous versions of the clients are installed, but not the Management server. Do I need to install it before the client, or are there not able to reside on the same machine?

They should both be able to install on the same machine.

What you may need to do is the following :

    1) Launch the Control Panel
    2) Choose "Regional and Language Options"
    3) Click the Advanced Tab
    4) Under "Code page conversion tables" , check "20127 (US-ASCII)" ON
    5) Click OK

Then try and install the client
