When trying to back up my Endpoint Protection Manager using "Database Back Up and Restore", I get the following message:

imagebrowser image

Endpoint Protection Manager is running on a Windows Server 2008 32bit.

I use an embedded database, not SQL.

I have changed ODBC settings and get result "connection successful" when testing the connection.

Has anyone else experienced this and solved it ?

This is showing a database

This is showing a database connection related issue. Howaver you should check your disk space once.

The default data backup stored on the following location: "C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\backup".

Scheduled data backup is stored in this location. You should check that this is not a disk space related issue.

I am having the same issue

I am having the same issue with 64-bit Windows 2008.

If it is a space issue where does one set the path to redirect the backup to another location?

Is there any update to this problem?
