SEPM is 11 & clients 12. You will see the clients in SEPM, but the definitions will not be updated.

Upper SEPM version to lower client version will manage sucess but lower SEPM version to Higher client version will not work

The SEP 12.1 Clients would not get managed by SEPM version 11.

SEP 12.1 clients requires License

So you can upgrade SEPM 11 to SEPM 12.

First you can restart Your System and install again.
