Endpoint Protection

I am having a issue with update content command in Endpoint protection manager

I ran it against a group that holds 100 or so pcs scattered around
When clicking on the Admin, servers tab and clicking on a site on the bottom it gets  "date/time file not found [Site:*******][server:******]

constantly for the last day or so every minute or so gets that message since the update content command was issued
Is there a way to cancel this
does this time out after a while
is there a setting that needs to change to fix

Which version of Symantec Endpoint Protection are you running?

Commands issued from the SEPM are immediately queued for execution on the clients and cannot be cancelled or withdrawn.  Use care when issuing commands to ensure that execution is appropriate and acceptable.

The only work-around is to delete the contents of  C:\Program Files\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager\data\outbox\agent\command

But if you do so you will not be able to issue new commands.

will that screw up auto replication between the servers

I don't think so.

did that looks like it is still showing up in the console every few seconds

Go to Log ---> Command Status

And check the status ofthe command. How many % is finished?

There have been a telephone book's worth of changes since MR2 MP1 (which is what you're using, which is from May of 2008).  I strongly recommend getting the newest build on there to see if it resolves your issue.

(Take your serial number (beginning with M or possibly B) to Fileconnect.)

BTW, the Update command will only issue a command to run LiveUpdate.
