Hi dear friends ,

I'm having a problem with remote push deloyment on Endpoint Protection Manager Server GUI on customer site. I'm trying to deploy approximately 10 end user via RPDeployment GUI. I found and cut some errors from scm-server-0.log. I got my attention an error on log text.

2015-05-06 16:06:13.107 THREAD 102 SEVERE:  in: com.sygate.scm.server.servlet.ConsoleServlet
java.lang.RuntimeException: java.lang.OutOfMemoryError

You can interpret more efficiently then do i and i attached some part of scm-server-0.log . I got this log at the end of fail deployment issue.

Try this

To adjust the Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager heap size:

• 1. Click Start> Run.
  2. In the Run dialog box, type regedit
  3. Press Enter.
  4. Locate the following registry key: 
     HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\Services\semsrv\Parameters\
  5. Locate the following keys: 
     JVM Option Number 0 
     JVM Option Number 1
  6. Adjust the key values upward, and for optimal performance, match the key values.
     For example, to create a 1 GB static heap, set: "JVM Option Number 0" to "-Xms512m", and set "JVM Option Number 1" to "-Xmx1024m".
  7. Close Regedit.
  8. Click Start > Settings > Control Panel > Administrative Tools
  9. In the Services dialog box, right-click Symantec Endpoint Protection Manager, and then click Restart

What version of SEPM?

I checked the values. The values are as you write on above.

Do you suggest should i increase them and how can i increase them logically. For example to make 2 GB heap size ;

JVM Option Number 0" to "-Xms1024m"

JVM Option Number 1" to "-Xmx2048m"

?

Yes you can try also check any error received in event viwer.

SEP 12.1 RU6 has been released and available to download at Flexnet.

I would recommend to test with 12.1 RU6 release.

Hope it will resolve this issue if still persisting.

I can push agent packages with deployment wizard on Load-Balance SEP Manager server for now. There is no error about push deployment like other server. I am planing upgrade SEP Manager servers to v12.1.6 soon. I notify you after upgrade about this problem.
