  • 1.  Endpoint protection manager server name change issue

    We've changed the name of the computer on which EP manager is installed. Now on the home screen, it saying only 7 PCs are online, despite the clients page showing a lot more people being online. Do I have to change any other settings within EP manger? Is there a way to fix this without redeploying everything again?

    how do these 7 clients differe from other clients?

    are these installed fresh after name change. You need to run reconfigure Management srever wizard

    no, they were installed a while ago

     

    it seems to have caught up with it as it's showing only 20 PCs are offline - should I still run the reconfiguration wizard?

    if it's possible drop sylink from new SEPM into these old 20 clients.

    I've checked the apache logs and found:

    [Thu Jan 05 12:08:15 2012] [warn] RSA server certificate CommonName (CN) `HS127.asdf.local' does NOT match server name!?
     

     

    where can I correct this?
