Hi,

I just installed Endpoint Protection Manager on a Windows Server 2003 R2 Standard x64 machine, but I cannot login to the management console. I get the error message "Failed to connect to the server". In several threads I read I have to check the DSN in ODBC, but on my machine there is no DSN. I cannot create one, because the adaptive server anywhere driver isn't present on my system. Do I need to install it manually on an x64 version of Windows? Where can I get this driver?

Thanks...

Hi,

Is there still no workaround for this issue? Why not Symantec staff has not event commented about this issue? http://service1.symantec.com/SUPPORT/ent-security.nsf/docid/2007082112580548 says that x64 are supported for Endpoint Protection Manager

Answering to myself:

I found WODBCAD32.exe named application from %SYSTEMROOT%\ServicePackFiles\i38-folder. With that application one can access and modify SymantecEndpointSecurityDSN.

Although this wasn't fix the issue but I could manage to check that database credentials were correct.
