    I have Windows 7 and I am getting a message that the Endpoint protection is on but not reporting status to Windows Security Center because format is no longer supported. Is there an update for this? Does it matter?? I dislike getting this message constantly. Any way to disable receiving  this error message without disabling receipt of any other error messages?

     The older version of SEP 12 are not compatible with Windows 7..So make sure you are using the version 12.0.1001.95.

    open spc click on about you wil find the full version

    My version is 12.0.122.192. Is this version compatible w/ Windows 7? If not is there an update for it? Shouldn't that happen with Live Update?

    No..It won't happen though livepdate as it is not defition version its products version..which i don't think SEP 12 does it now..

    However you can download it from https://fileconnect.symantec.com

    You can call support and ask for this version. They should be able to help you on this.
