Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition

I have a question about different SEP Versions. I work for a non-profit agency and through "TechSoup" I can purchase licenses at a discounted price, (see product here). My questions is, the discounted licenses are for Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 and my agency is running Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 - Small Business Edition, are these the same program?

No. There are a number of Differences between SEP SBE 12.1 and SEP EE 12.1

I do not believe the licences available for purchase are for SEP EE 12.1. It just says Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1.

There are 2 products:

1) Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1

2) Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SBE) 12.1

Here, the "Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1" is the Enterprise Edition (EE)

Ok thank you for clearing that up for me. I have one more question though, do you know if Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition 2013, Protection for 1 Endpoint (Product ID G-48506) would be compatible with Symantec Endpoint Protection Small Business Edition (SBE) 12.1?

Further to the above, while SBE 12.1 is your standard on-premise solution, SBE2013 can be either on-premise or cloud based, and is only available at additional cost:

I'm afraid I can't find any documentation (on my cursory search) on transitioning from SBE12.1 to SBE2013.
