    Hi-

    My endpoint protection once installed already had a weekly scan scheduled. The program doesn't allow me to edit the scan or stop it while in the middle of the scan. I was wondering if anybody had a similar problem and knows how to fix it.   I'm runnin version 11.0.4 on Windows Vista SP 1.

    Thanks

    scheduled scan can be edited in SEPM console. When changed client should getthe policy ( after SEP client communicated)

    you can stop the scan if you restart the sep service.

    Cheers

    and if weekly scan fails it will try it again automaticly. you can close it in Policies > Antivirus and Antispyware Policies > Administrators Defined Scan > edit your weekly scan options > Shedule > Retry the scan within unCheck box.
    for example: if your scan schuled time in wednesday 12:00 pm and you install new sep in friday. Sep said " oh i was have weekly scan in wednesday and i didn't do it. thats why i'll start it now" than start scan immediately.

    Hi Fatih;
    If I've well understood leaving "Retry the scan within" check box unchecked the missed scheduled scan start automatically the first time the client (on wich the schedule scan was missed because it was powered off) is powered on?

    Thanks in advance.
