  • 1.  endpoint scanning does not start

    - A computer on a network does not start the scanning process, in any form will not start scanning..

    More info:

    Windows XP service pack 2, 32 bit, ram 2 GB, SEP 11.0.6...

    - Un equipo en una red no inicia el proceso de escaneo, de cualquier forma no inicia escaneo.

    Is the SEP cliiet running? What is the Status showing on the client GUI? Is this a new install? Any errors in the Windows event viewer?

    You may have corrupt definitions. See -

    If this is not the case, try running a client repair from  Add/Remove Progarms.

    I reinstall the SEP to the client in 2 oportrunities and doeen´tt scan,

    can be a windows problem or SEP?

    Could you re download a fresh package and then re-install. As this issue may only occur in scenarios where   some files of the client may go missing.

    upgrade to version 12.1 and the problem was solved ...

    You can upgrade to SEP 12.1 RU1 is launched now.
