    I work in an environment with about 2000 network machines where
    Endpoint and updates is pushed out across the network.

    We have recently upgraded our Endpoint version to 11.0..5002.33 from 11.0.4

    Since the upgrade, Outlook 07 users are experiencing issues opening attachments.

    Is there a fix or known issue with this??

    what is the kind of attachment?

    PDF files, jpg , *.doc or the issue is will all sort of attachments in outlook.

    It is apparently any email that is trying to be opened.. Not attachments.. that was my mistake

    The issue is an add-in in outlook.. Symantec needs to be unchecked as an add-in in outlook

    You should be referring to this then

    Symantec AntiVirus: Microsoft Outlook error "The add-in 'C:\Program Files\Symantec_Client_Security\Symantec AntiVirus\vpmsece.dll' could not be installed ..."
