  • 1.  Ensuring OS X EFT Boot issue is really fixed

    Having been through the original PGP issue where an OS X upgrade blew away the EFT boot file several months ago and having gone through it AGAIN today.....how does one ensure that the fix presented (boot from the PGP recovery CD) really solves the issue? And by solves" I don't mean just because it boots correctly now.

    Booting from the recovery CD DOESN'T fix the issue. upgrading your version of PGP Desktop to 10.1.2 or newer fixes the issue.

    You can confirm that it's fixed by reading our release notes where it was tested by QA and then documented that it's fixed in our code.
