This issue has been solved. See solution.
I am having issues with the EV archiving task.  It runs with no problem, but when I click run now things get interesting.  If I select archive all enabled mailboxes, it fails within 10 minutes with no event in the event log, but if I select all of the mailboxes manually, it runs with no problems.  Any ideas?

Hi,

you could try a DTRACE on the Archiving Task (See 'Utlities.pdf') and browse through the file looking for any errors (file will get large!) to get a hint for further troubleshooting.

I did a dtrace on it; storage archive, storage file watch, and the archive task.  It doesn't show any errors.  It just stops at a certain point; a different point each time with no logs...

Hi,

I only know about problems using Riverbed connections with Enterprise Vault Archive Task (http://seer.entsupport.symantec.com/docs/288332.htm).

If there are no hints at all (even in the report file?) it is difficult to point out the problem.

Hi,

Have you used quest migration tools in the past?
I would send a dtrace of archivetask to symc support and let them analyse it.
