This issue has been solved. See solution.

I am running the latest Enterprise Vault (Version: 9.0.1.1073) and the latest OWA 2010 Extensions on the CAS servers.

On both my Exchange 2010 SP1 CAS Servers, I receive the following error in the event viewer:

Any idea on what can be causing this?

log a case with symantec

log a case with symantec support for issues like this because by the looks of it it looks like something at a code level as opposed to configuration level

We have the same error when

We have the same error when we use public folder over OWA:

https://www-secure.symantec.com/connect/forums/ev-...

In this case it should fixed with EV 9.0.3.

"It is a problem with the NullException being returned when we request a PreviewMessageClass."

It is rolled up into this TN http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH160437

Maybe it's the same source of error.
