By far the easiest way is to look at the .SLF file in your 'Installed Licenses' subfolder off your EV program files folder.

Or look for the last 4213 event from the Admin Service.  When it starts up it logs the license information... and puts it in that event.

Adding new ..  once you've obtained the file from Symantec, or a Partner:

As Rob said, there is an Event when the Admin service starts or you can open the License file in notepad and check the date there.  I would suggest making a copy and opening that.

To install the new license follow this TN:

Replacing Enterprise Vault licenses and installing additional licenses

To replace a license or install an additional license

  1. Place the new .slf license file in the Enterprise Vault folder (for example C:\Program Files (x86)\Enterprise Vault).

  2. Restart the Enterprise Vault Admin service to install the licenses. The Admin service writes a license information report message to the event log.

  3. For a multi-server Enterprise Vault deployment, you must repeat the steps on each Enterprise Vault server.
