Can someone tell me how to enable logging and diagnose Enterprise Vault archiving task issues?

First of all, which version of Enterprise Vault, and which service pack? Secondly is it Exchange Mailbox Archiving? In the latest releases of EV the mailbox archiving task produces excellent reports after each run of the task, which will give you a lot of useful information.

You can also use Dtrace. Have a look at the videos section on this forum for a set of videos on how to do that from Adept-tec, they are a Symantec Partner.

It would also help if you explained the problem.
