After contacting support, I was told that there is no option available to me for upgradew 12.1.x clients to the current 12.1.6 version.
Problem is, Symantec allowed clients to purchase the software up to May or whatever the date was -- meaning several businesses have current Symantec certificates but have been told they will no longer be able to keep the product current.
Please tell me that isn't true!
Is there no way that I can get clients current on the Symantec app? If I have to go to the cloud I guess I will but would rather stay on premises. But from what I'm being told and seeing, on premises installations will stop at 12.1.5 -- which of coarse is riddled with vulns. Not vulns that are likely to be compromised in most small businesess but still vulns.
It would be helpful to confirm this concern and, if I can get to the current version via cloud, how I would go about that.
