Error 1327 G: is an Invalid Drive installing client

This issue has been solved. See solution.

The My Documents folder on the client PCs is actually mapped to drive G: which is on a network server disk.  This error appears to be an MSI error, according to various posts on non-Symantec sites that have also seen this problem installing other software via MSI.

Has anyone encountered this issue and, better still, overcome it?

If so, please tell me...

Thanks
