Error 1935 on server 2008 when installing RU7MP2

This issue has been solved. See solution.

I receive the following error when I try to install the RU7MP2 Client Version on Windows Server 2008 computer.
Here the message: error 1935 an error occurred during the installation of assembly component.

Anyone have this similar problem?

Where do I go to do this?

Which version of .Net framework - should I start installing 3 again and move to 4 thereafter?

Will reinstall .Net framework and check again.

Hello,

Try these Steps:

Go to Start
Open Run Command and type “cmd” and run the following command, which would repair the corrupt .net framework:
fsutil resource setautoreset true C:\

Delete all the Symantec folders on C (Program Files, App Data, Program Data, Common Files)
Click on Windows Features Turn on or off from Control Panel
From Microsoft .NET Framework select all the options
Installation will go through.

I tried installing SEP 12.1RU1MP1 and it installed without any errrors.

Please check windows event and revert to do more troubleshutting.
