Hi everybody,
I am getting this error when installing SEPM 12.0 client on client computers. I have already uninstalled SEPM 11.0.6 from client computers.
Do you have any suggestion or any tool for successfully installing SEPM 12.0.
Thank you in advance. Please take note that it is urgent. . . .

Have anybody solved this problem?! I follow the link for downloading new version of clean wipe utility but there is no link ofr downloadin. Link just contains instruction for Clean wipe utility . . .
Hello,
I would not recommend Windows Cleanup Utility as it is no more Supported by Microsoft. Microsoft has removed the Windows Installer Cleanup utility from its Download Center because it was discovered this tool could damage some components of the operating system installed on the computer.
Microsoft replaced the Windows Installer Cleanup with other tools, an example is the article How do I uninstall Office 2003, Office 2007 or Office 2010 suites if I cannot uninstall it from Control Panel? replaced the previously published under Q290301.
For Symantec CleanWipe Utility for SEP 12.1, I would request you to Create a Case Online OR Call Symantec Technical Support -

True, i agree with Mithun, Windows Clean up utility is not supported.
You could try running the clean wipe with and without detailed MSI search and if still no positive results, please get a case created by contacting the tech support.

Oki, one more time. I had old version of SEPM 11 client on windows 7 64 bit. We puchased license for SEPM 12 for 100 client. And I successfully installed it to Server 2008 r2. Now I am in the stage of installing client side of SEPM 12. I exported client install package for windows and installed it to some client machines and it was successfull. Before installing I successfully uninstalled SEPM 11 client from Windows 7 64 machine. Now on the machines which symantec uninstalled i want to install new version but i am recieving "Error 2343. Specified path is emty".
"SEPM 11 is no longer in the ADD/Remove Program side"
Is it clear?. I am wondering am I explaining my problem correctly?
Hello,
Could you try Copy and Pasting the SEP 12.1 package to the Windows 7 client machine and then running the setup.exe on the Windows 7 locally and check.
Hope that helps!!

■ Enable network discovery by using the Network and Sharing Center.
■ Enable the built-in administrator account and assign a password to the account.

Exporting a single EXE is sometimes problematic. Whenever I run into a problem like this, I export a full version of SEP and then run setup.exe from the installation directory. That usually corrects the problem.
For the few times it doesn't, I'll modify setup.ini to remove the quiet install parameters. This requires clicking OK or Next until SEP installs. It will also provide more feedback on the error message.
CmdLine=/l*v "%TEMP%\SEP_INST.LOG" IDCENABLE=0
If you are logged on the the computer trying to troubleshoot this, then to find log file above, click Start=>Run and type in %temp% to bring up the temp directory. The install log file will be there.
Please open a case with support to get this resolved.
