Hi, can anyone help I've been browsing for days!

I updated the ghost console a couple of weeks ago. I successfully pulled a few images back but now for some reason whenever i try to deploy them the task just bombs out - at a different point each time...

    I have tried:

    Unicast/Multicast
Updating the NIC Drivers in the win PE-512 environment
Throttling back the image throughput to 50MB

I have also copied an image to a USB hard drive and used a bart disk to take the network out of the equation/ test the image - worked fine

nothing has changed on the network since before i updated ghost a couple of weeks ago (when it worked fine - why did i update! WHY?)

any help would be very appreciated

    Many thanks

    Jim

    Hi,

I've already found and tried everything in this article - any other suggestions?

OK it works when restricted to a 50MB throughput but it takes ages - this is not an ideal solution

is there any reason that it would work at such a low speed when older equipment can suck an image down unrestricted?

thanks for your time, i appreciate any suggestions :)

updated the console, i have had the same error, i've updated the nic's in winpe-512 an it would not work, but i've discoverd that no matter what setting i've used in "set virtual partition os" it would fallback on the win-pe image, and not using the changes i've made i win-pe 512. When i've made the nic's changes in the win-pe image it worked fine.

Try changing the SATA mode to AHCI in the BIOS. Strange, I know, but worth a try as it resolved our issues.
