Receiving the following error when trying to capture image:

Error -99 during imaging process.

This can be due to a failure to map a network drive, or unintentional path changes made in customised startup scripts. In bootdisk creator, are you mapping the M:\ and is this being mapped in your WinPE boot?

The M:\ mapping is important as the old default drive letter for automation (the F:\) would often meet with failure as other removable media entries could take that letter rendering it unavailable for the network drive map command.

What steps are takeing place?   I have seen on some specific HP systems that the image will be created or deployed but the console never gets the all clear from the client and so will report a -99.  

If you couls share the details about the job you are performing and the details of the error and steps of the task up to the 99 error.   If you are still using the default F drive as noted by Ian consider changind to a later letter.
