  • 1.  Error -99 while attempting taking in image, HF3

    Posted Nov 18, 2015 09:30 AM

I just installed HF3, created the Automation Folder with the default settings for my Windows 10 computer lab (I'm using a VM to work for my lab image).

The Automation Folder starts, the drivers loads, Dagent starts, after that, connection close, session terminated and it reboots.

In the console, I'm left with an error -99 and no other details.

Where I can have more detail on what when wrong?

    Thank you.

Make sure you are port forwarding port 402 to the VM for the Host system.

You may also need to port forward other ports.

I've added this to another thread reporting this same issue.

Did you install the Linux automation environment (LinPE)? The 'default' automation is inherited from the PXE service so if that's set to Linux then the Ghost command line switches will be for the Linux rather than WinPE.

If this is the issue, to resolve, set the default automation environment to WinPE. Once you've done that, if you review your imaging jobs these the arguments should update with the Win32 style command line options.

    Kind Regards,

    Ian./
