  • 1.  error after instaling sep on win server 2012

    After the instalation а Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 on windows server 2012,after reboot there is a mistake  "system_service_exception problematic driver file sysPlant.sys",after the second try everything seems installed but there is a new mistake "This program has compatibility issues".

    wait for SEP 12.1 RU2 release, as the existing versions are not officially supported on Windows 2012.

    HI,

    Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 does not support windows 2012.

     

    Is Symantec Endpoint Protection 12.1 (SEP 12.1) supported on Microsoft Windows 8 and Windows Server 2012?

    It's not officially supported but will still install. Official support is out Nov 6th.

    Make sure to only install the AV component.
