  • 1.  Error after use Downadup.exe on SEPM

    My colleague use Downadup.exe to scan Conflicker virus on SEP Server.

    When I login to SEPM Console. Error Messege is Unable to communicate with the reporting component

    its related to IIS, what is the DB being used, is it embedded, if yes try following steps mentioned in the URL

    Unable to communicate with reporting issue comes mainly due to permissions ..So i guess this tool lso reset some user permissions like everyone or something.
    Could you give Authenticated user permission to SEPM\Inetpub foler and check if everything is working fine.Also try restarting SEPm and Embedded database service or if possible a reboot for the server.
