Error in Backup Exec: File(s) are currently being backed up to the CPS Protection Server...

Hello

During the week, we have a CPS Backup running. On the weekend the schedule is stopped and the data is copied with Backup Exec to a Tape Drive.

This has been running for months without any problems. But since 3 weekends the backup generates a error message:

The job failed with the following error: File(s) are currently being backed up to the CPS Protection Server and cannot be backed up by Backup Exec. Adjust the schedules for the CPS and Backup Exec jobs that back up these file(s) to avoid running them simultaneously, and then try running the Backup Exec job again.

But, as I say so, the CPS Backup is not running on the weekend!

The server has also been restarted to make sure, no files are locked or similar.

So what can I do to solve this strange issue?

Thanks

Chasper

Also go through the related docs section at the end of both of these articles.
