This issue has been solved. See solution.

Netbackup Server = 7.5.0.3

OS = Windows 2003 R2

Tape Drive = Standalone

policy = Flat file backup

One more question to Symantec forums Admin...The TN which resolved my problem has a subject which I searched alot but did not find the specific TN which resolved my problem. What is the criteria to search the TN

I am not an Admin, but this is how I search using Google:  

site:symantec.com netbackup The tape device at index 1 has a maximum block size of....

(a '-' in search criteria will exclude the word that follows)
