Hey guys me again,
So I just installed a brand new server to act as a fail over server 12.1 RU1. They are both using the same SQL database located off the server. The installation of the failover server and edit of the management server list went smoothly (for once). 2 days later I get the new box giving me some weird error.
can you pass on scm-server-0.log
Please check all symantec services are running and what is the operating systems
The server is running Windows Server 2008 R2.
I have attached the scm-server log.
Attachment(s)
looks like you have copied and paste it in the file :-).
can you check if the DB service is started?
Are you using SQL or embedded database?
I am using a SQL database that is located on another server.
is the DB service started?
can you run management server configuration wizard and check if you can login?
Yea the databse can be logged in to. No issues there
Try by disabling firewall.
@AravindKM, The firewall has been turned off on creation for this SEPM server
did you run re run the management server configuration wizard?
@pete_4u2002, Yep did re run the management server config wizard and it was all fine no issues
do you mean it's working fine? :-)
I'm still getting the same server error message. The last one happened on the 13th of March.
