    Hi All,

    I get an error message while login to Windows 2003 32bit server which has 12.1.RU3 installed

    I have upgrade from 11.0.6005 to 12.1.RU3, Right from upgrade Iam getting the error message very oftenly.

    When I downgrade back to 11.0.6005, I do not get the error message .  Again I Migrated to 12.1.RU3 and still getting the same error

    Iam using SQL 2005 Which is not in the same server and tested the ODBC test.

    Have you tried uninstalling it per this KBA:

    http://www.symantec.com/docs/TECH106138

    It should not be needed in 12.1

    Hi Brian,

    I do not find the SEPM site in IIS as I have Migrated to 12.1.3 and also I could not find the following lines in php.ini

    fastcgi.impersonate=1
    fastcgi.log=0

    Also there is no FastCGI in add & remove program and also i could not find the FastCGI.exe to install in No support tool in SEP 12.1.3 Part2.exe

    IIS is no longer used in 12.1 and can be removed as well. Seems there is some leftover artifacts after doing the upgrade.

    You mean that we have to remove the IIS, but we have hosted other application as well

    If the machine has more roles than just the SEPM and you need IIS than you should leave it. If it was only a SEPM, you could remove IIS as SEP 12.1 uses Apache.

    I would suggest a call to support.
