error in client

    Symantec AntiVirus: "Error 1920". "The Service failed to start. Verify that you have sufficient privileges to start system services."

    Does this happen during an install/upgrade?

    Nope. This error occur on installed clients.

    Client / Server Version - 11.0.7 - MP1

    This issue is occuring while users are online on that systems and crash application type message reflect on screen.

    Reboot the machine, does the error come back??

    HI,

    Did you try the repaire sep client ?

    Try to use clean wipe tool and reinstall sep client...

    try the below steps

    • Browse to HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Symantec\Symantec Endpoint Protection\SMC
    • Select and right click SMC and choose Permission from the drop down menu
    • In permissions add the User, Administrator and SYSTEM with full permission
    • Reboot the machine

    Try again installing SEP.

    I was hold because I was add the case in underobserve. Now its working.
