Access is denied

Access is denied - this is normally linked to permissions. Check the NetBackup Client Service logon acount - this account needs sufficient read/write permissions on every single file/folder that needs to be backed up.

The default logon account is LocalSystem. You need to change this to a service/user account with appropriate permissions. Please ensure that a service account is used that does not have password expiration enabled.

In addition

Check whether User Access Control(UAC) of Windows is enabled. It is enabled by default.

I'm not sure UAC cause your problem, but I know if it is enabled and Service logon account is changed, some NetBackup operations(e.g. image expiration) end with failure.
